Data Deletion Request

Data Deletion Request

Last updated: 2026-07-06

LAUNDRY COLLECT respects your right to have your personal data deleted. This page explains what data we hold, how to ask us to delete it, and what happens after you send a request. It also serves as our data deletion instructions for users who reached us through social platforms such as Facebook or Instagram.

1. Who to contact

To request deletion of your personal data, email us at:

privacy@laundrycollect.com

Please send your request from the email address you used to book, or include enough detail (name, booking email or phone number) for us to locate your records. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, so that we do not delete someone else's data by mistake.

2. What data we can delete

On request we will erase the personal data we hold about you, including:

  • Identity: last name, first name
  • Contact: email address, telephone number
  • Addresses: pickup and delivery addresses, floor, access code, instructions
  • Orders: your booking and service history and preferences

Payment card details are handled by our payment provider (Stancer) and are not stored by LAUNDRY COLLECT.

3. Facebook and Instagram users

LAUNDRY COLLECT does not use Facebook Login and does not receive or store any Facebook or Instagram account identifier (such as an app-scoped user ID). If you found us through a Facebook or Instagram page or advertisement and later booked a service, the data we hold is the booking data described above — request its deletion the same way, by emailing privacy@laundrycollect.com.

4. What we cannot immediately delete

Some data must be retained to meet legal obligations, in particular:

  • Invoicing and accounting records: kept for 10 years, as required by French law.

Where we are legally required to keep certain records, we will restrict their use to that legal purpose and delete them once the retention period ends. We will explain any such limitation in our reply.

5. Timeline and confirmation

We acknowledge every deletion request and process it promptly, and in any case within the time limits set by the GDPR (normally within one month). When your data has been deleted — or if any part must be retained for the legal reasons above — we will email you a confirmation.

6. Your other rights

Deletion is one of several rights you hold under the GDPR (access, rectification, objection, portability, restriction, and withdrawal of consent). See our Privacy Policy for the full list and for how we handle your data.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL: https://www.cnil.fr
